Star Citizen Alpha Patch 4.1.1

Alpha Patch 4.1.1 has been released to all backers to test!   Patch should now show: VERSION 4.1.1-PTU.9728431.
  • Audience: All PTU Waves
  • Server Info: PTU Channel - US Only
  • Long Term Persistence: Enabled
  • Mesh Configuration: 7:3:600
  • Server Recovery: Enabled
  • Starting aUEC: 15,000,000
Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing and subject to removal.  When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus".  Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

Known Issues

  • Blocker: Multivehicle - PU - Quantum Travel - Quantum travel will no longer align and spool to target destinations
  • Critical: PU - Multivehicle - Vehicle Components / Bed Logout - Bedlogging in ships can break Quantum Markers 
  • Critical: Anvil Valkyrie Series - PU - Vehicles / Components / Weapons - Valkyrie series is missing its mounted door turrets
  • Critical: PU - New Babbage / Brentworth Care Center - UI / Medical Screens - Check-in medical kiosk is stuck on “Checking availability” loading screen
  • High: PU - Locations / UI / Shopping Kiosk - Delivery location when purchasing any item is missing if the Player doesn't change the location in the drop down

Ripper SMG
- Full damage range increased from 20 to 22.5
- Damage Fall off now starts at 22.5 and scales to 0 at 35m


Quartz Volt SMG
- VFX Beam Polish to increase diameter
- Full damage range decreased from 20 to 15
- Range reduced from 50 to 25

This range was tucked in because the damage has linear falloff meaning targets would get damaged but would take minimal damage
tucking in the damage range makes feeling a good range out of the beam weapon easier
We intend to make the damage not have a linear fall off in the future

Bug Fixes

  • Potential Fix: AEGS Gladius - PU - Vehicles - Firing a missile prevents the Gladius pilot from accessing Mobiglas until they exit the seat (STARC-142109)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Mission Refactor - Missions / Server Meshing - Transitioning between DGS-mesh while travelling around a shard of the PU changes the tracked mission (STARC-146970)
  • Potential Fix: ARGO ATLS All Variants - PU - Vehicles - Physics - ATLS loses collision with surface upon calling ship to hangar (STARC-165277)
  • Potential Fix: ARGO RAFT - PU - Vehicles / Art - Top right maneuvering thruster is missing (STARC-165690)
  • Potential Fix: ARGO Raft - PU - Vehicles / Animation - Crew lift elevator clips on hatch doors when called from lower deck
  • Potential Fix: PU - UI / Art - The 4.1.1 loading screen is showing "RELEASE EDITION 4.1.0" (STARC-165377)
  • Potential Fix: ANVL Gladiator - PU - Vehicles - Gladiators Have Multiple invulnerable spots on the rear top and bottom making it hard to kill (STARC-164065)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Ship Battles V1 - Patrol - Foxwell - Missions - Ace Pilots ships when destroyed can also destroy the body (STARC-165633)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Mission Content / AI - Patrol / Hunt the Polaris - UEE Navy ships are hostile to the player when arriving at the mission stage "Protect the Ship"
  • Potential Fix: PU - Fleet Week - Hunt the Polaris - Missions - Party members that get a crimestat 3 fail the mission for everyone 
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Mission Content - Hunt the Polaris - AI - Enemy AI either spawn at every beacon or none at all during Stage 2
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Mission Content - Hunt the Polaris - mobiGlas - Certain Stage 2 mission objectives appear blank in the mobiGlas
  • Potential Fix: Missile UI does not correctly show min/max distance giving no feedback to player they are not in range
