Star Citizen Alpha Patch 4.1.1

Alpha Patch 4.1.1 has been released to all backers to test!   Patch should now show: VERSION 4.1.1-PTU.9724848.
  • Audience: All PTU Waves

  • Long Term Persistence: Enabled
  • Mesh Configuration: 7:3:600
  • Server Recovery: Enabled
  • Starting aUEC: 15,000,000
Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing and subject to removal.  When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus".  Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

Known Issues

  • Blocker: Multivehicle - PU - Quantum Travel - Quantum travel will no longer align and spool to target destinations
  • Critical: PU - Multivehicle - Vehicle Components / Bed Logout - Bedlogging in ships can break Quantum Markers 
  • Critical: Anvil Valkyrie Series - PU - Vehicles / Components / Weapons - Valkyrie series is missing its mounted door turrets
  • Critical: PU - New Babbage / Brentworth Care Center - UI / Medical Screens - Check-in medical kiosk is stuck on “Checking availability” loading screen
  • High: PU - Locations / UI / Shopping Kiosk - Delivery location when purchasing any item is missing if the Player doesn't change the location in the drop down
 

Features & Gameplay

 
  • Locations
Fleet Week Hall is now Open!  Located at the Bevic Convention Center at Area18, the halls are now open for testing and looking around.  In addition, we have the Aegis Idris Experience.  An Idris is docked at the top of the ArcCorp tower at Area18, ready to be explored as part of the celebration.  

For tonight's build, the Expo halls will run on a 2 hour rotation timer.

- Hunt the Polaris can now be joined by anyone, anywhere, as a cooperative mission
  • Ships and Vehicles
- Further decreases to angular speed capacities for the Polaris and 890j
- Increased max range of Polaris S6 turret guns

Bug Fixes

  • Potential Fix: PU - Quantum Travel / Starmap / UI - HUD does not correctly filter Quantum Travel markers after setting a route (STARC-86785)
  • Potential Fix: Multivehicle - PU - Vehicles / Physics - Vehicles with revised ground vehicle physics suffer excessive vibration at low speeds or when stopped (STARC-82528)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Mission - Ship Battles V1 - quantum traveling away and back again breaks AI hostility logic keeping Polaris passive for easy boarding (STARC-164857)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Creatures - Juvenile Valakkar - Locations / AI / Mission Content - Juvenile vlk are not emerging from underground (STARC-165331)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Wikelo's Emporium - The Collector - Locations / Missions - Juvenile Valakkar Fangs do not count towards the Mission Objective when delivered via Freight Elevator
  • Potential Fix: Drake Cutlass - Some Variants - PU / AC - Vehicles - The side doors cannot be opened from outside of the ship
  • Potential Fix: PU - Pyro - Handyman - mobiGlas / Missions / UI - Mission objectives in the Starmap have "%ls" instead of a counter
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Wikelo Mods - Locations / Design - The collector base does not display a visible QT marker when players attempt to view it while their vehicle is in nav/QT mode
  • Potential Fix: PU - Armor - Male - Heavy Hunter1 Store & Rewards Camo variants Arms deform slightly when wiping visor
  • Potential Fix: PU - Pyro - Courier - Missions / Design - Burrito can be given as an item for Courier Pick Up / Drop Off and cannot be Placed
  • Potential Fix: CNOU Mustang Alpha - PU - Vehicles / Balance - Thrust imbalance is too uncontrollable when a Main Thruster is destroyed
  • Potential Fix: PU - Missions - Hunt the Polaris - Mission Content - Mission is only visible on mobiGlas when near Hurston
  • Potential Fix: RSI Polaris - PU - Vehicles/ AI - Polaris Nose turret does not fire when controlled by AI does not fire
