Star Citizen Alpha Patch 4.1.1

Alpha Patch 4.1.1 has been released to Wave 2 Testers!   Patch should now show: VERSION 4.1.1-PTU.9712940.
  • Audience: Wave 2 (Looking to go to wave 3 shortly after release to PTU)
  • Server Info: PTU Channel - US Only
  • Long Term Persistence: Enabled 
  • Mesh Configuration: 7:3:600
  • Server Recovery: Enabled
  • Starting aUEC: 15,000,000

Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing and subject to removal.  When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus".  Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

Known Issues

We are expecting many missing assets around Area18 builds with some replaceme textures around. This is temporary with more inclusions coming in the next builds.
Ship Battle Patrol missions have had sharing enabled in tonight's build but we are expecting issues with shared players not seeing many objectives. Solo play is recommended.
  • Blocker: PU - Ship Battles V1 - Patrol - Missions / Mission Refactor / UI - Accepting a shared patrol mission does not allow you to see Ping Area mission markers
  • Blocker: Multivehicle - PU - Quantum Travel - Quantum travel will no longer align and spool to target destinations
  • Critical: PU - Multivehicle - Vehicle Components / Bed Logout - Bedlogging in ships can break Quantum Markers 
  • Critical: PU - Space Combat Mission- Ambush - Foxwell - Missions / HUD - "Hide Ship Signature" objective marker has a chance to not appear in Ambush missions
  • Critical: PU - Physics - Players walking around destroyed landing gear of a ship can fall through the ground
  • Critical: PU - Stanton - Ship Battles - Gilly's Gauntlet - Mission Content / Game Code - Mission does not fail after you QT away from the action area while the mission is active (Fixed in next build)
  • Critical: Anvil Valkyrie Series - PU - Vehicles / Components / Weapons - Valkyrie series is missing its mounted door turrets
  • Critical: PU - New Babbage / Brentworth Care Center - UI / Medical Screens - Check-in medical kiosk is stuck on “Checking availability” loading screen
  • High: PU - Locations / UI / Shopping Kiosk - Delivery location when purchasing any item is missing if the Player doesn't change the location in the drop down

  • Potential Fix: PU - Pyro - Ship Battles V1 - Patrol / Ambush - Headhunters - Missions / UI - Headhunter missions are in the unverified tab when in Pyro
  • Potential Fix: PU - MultiSystem - Ship Battles V1 - Missions - Patrol / Search & Destroy Foxwell - Mission markers and Satellites are missing upon player arrival
  • Potential Fix: Argo Raft - PU/AC - Vehicles - Raft spawning with landing gear up and no collision to the feet of landing gear (STARC-165937)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Ship Battles - Ace Pilot - NPC - Player is unable to interact with ace pilot & can clip though npcs body (STARC-165302)
  • Potential Fix: PU - UI / MFD - The Vehicle RTTs are not showing up on holographic MFDs (STARC-155025)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Ship Battles V1 - Patrol / Ambush - Missions / Vehicles - <=Unintialized=> is displayed in the MFD during Comms
  • Potential Fix: MISC - Some Variants - PU/AC - Vehicles/ shields - Freelancer and freelancer dur shields are not protecting the ship (Will help during Protect Missions as well)
  • Potential Fix: PU - ASOP / Ship / Cargo - Upon the Ship auto storing through leaving game or leaving hangar; on initial retrieval the Cargo disappears and Cargo Grid is locked from being used (STARC-151964)
